Assault on St. Agnes is an award winning book by author Joseph Courtemanche with a foreword provided by the renowned author of thrillers set in the deep where only submarines dare, Michael DiMercurio.
The book is a fast-paced tale that tells two stories in parallel: the race to thwart a massive terrorist attack on US soil and the metamorphosis, spiritual and otherwise, of the man tasked to do the thwarting, an ‘everyman’ named Bobby Kurtz.
A story with non-stop action layered with the complexities of human foibles is just crying out to be made into a movie. Now, after nearly ten years in print, its time to take the first steps needful to putting the book on the big screen. And the very first step? A screenplay, of course.
The purpose of this campaign is to raise the funds needed to finance a high-quality, first-rate screenplay based on the book. With script in hand, the next steps will be pursued with vigor.
